The Big Iron Classic is held each fall the first weekend after labor day in Kasson MN. Usually the first
weekend in September some of the best looking trucks and trailers in the country
make the pilgrimage to this small Midwestern town. The Big Iron Classic is the
Midwest's largest "Working Class" truck show and one of the local area's largest
charity contributors of toys.
Registration for trucks is done prior to the event. However, on entry to the
facility you are requested to bring a donation of a toy which the Big Iron
Classic will distribute to several local charities.
There is no charge to the public for any events except the
truck pull.
However, we encourage you to show your appreciation and support for our event by
contributing a toy or two in one of the collection boxes.

The Big Iron Classic is a Friday to Sunday Event. During that time there are
over 550 semi-truck tractors and trailers on display. Truckers from all over the
country come to display their working and show rigs. Bobtails, custom
Truck viewing on Friday begins at 12 noon until 7pm
On Saturday viewing is from 9:00am - 5:00pm

Each year there are different celebrities that attend the Big Iron Classic.
Chrome Shop Mafia are a regular. So keep your cameras ready you never know when
you might see them.

Dash plaques are given to each
truck that pre-registers to the show. The
dash plaque contains an image of a randomly picked truck from the previous
year's event. |

TRUCKERS TUG'IN FOR TOYS!!

The truck pull is the hi-light of the weekend. Come and watch as these big
diesel trucks compete to pull a weighted sled as it digs deeper into the track
the further it is pulled. This year's bragging rights are up for grabs again!
Every year this event is a complete sellout. This year will be even better as
we will have several classes in the truck pull along with the "King of the
hill"; a pull-off with the champions in each class. A winner's trophy is awarded in each
class.
Truck Pull is Saturday evening at 6:00pm. Admission to the tractor pull for the general public is $6.00 per person.
ages 13 and older. Kids 12 and younger will be admitted free with a paid adult.

There will be several vendor booths setup throughout the site. Food vendors,
parts vendors and many more spaces are available inside and outside. If you

The "King of the hill" from the previous year is featured on the annual poster
and T-shirt . Dustin Snell provides a computer art
drawing of the featured truck. This drawing is on display throughout the show
and is then presented to the owner of the truck at the truck pull Saturday

Don't forget the toys. The main function of the Big Iron Classic is to
collect and distribute toys to charity. Entry to the Big Iron Classic includes
the donation of a toy for a girl or boy.

Friday night beginning at dusk, all the big rigs run their lights creating a
stunning multicolored light show. The light show runs for a couple of hours and is a
sight to see. This event is open to the public.

Friday and Saturday night there is live entertainment form 9pm to 1am. This
is a time to sit back and relax. Met a few old friends and make new friends. the
public is invited to this events.
Friday Night's entertainment will be Trouble Shooter - Live Band

Saturday there is a "Parade Of Big Rigs" through Mantorville.
Mantorville is located a mile North of Kasson where the Big Iron Classic is
held.
