- The Big Iron Classic reserves the right to deny any applicant a
media pass. Al requests are reviewed no a case-by-case basis.
Journalists who receive passes should note that these may be revoked
at our discretion.
- Credentials are not transferable
- Media Representatives are not permitted in any restricted areas
except by special permission from the Big Iron Classic staff.
Requests for access to restricted access can be obtained at the Big
Iron Classic, but it is suggested that requests be made in advance.
- Media representatives and all associated production activities
may not inconvenience guests of the fairgrounds in any way.
- While at the event, the bearer will be subject to the direction
and/or supervision of the Big Iron Classic staff.
- The Big Iron Classic may host a wide variety of top-name special
guests who will often accept interview requests from the media.
please make arrangements for these interviews at least 48 hours in
advance.
We welcome the working media (reporters, photographers and
broadcasters) to our events, but require that you identify yourself and
apply for the appropriate credentials.
Media credentials will be distributed only to working members of the
media for the expressed purpose of covering the Big Iron Classic. Only
those individuals/organizations with a legitimate working function will
be issued media credentials.
In acceptance of a media credential, the bearer and employer agree that
the bearer is a bona-fide agent of the media outlet and will be using
the credential for its intended use. Misuse of media credentials for an
y other purpose will result in immediate revocation of the credential
for that event and may result in denial of future credential
requests for BOTH the bearer and employer.
To obtain a media pass:
- Journalists should submit their written request to the address
listed on our contact page. Requests should include the event to be
covered, an outline of proposed coverage, and the reporter's and
editor's name, address, phone number, Web Site, and Email. Please
use your media outlet letterhead and include a business card.
